Best Places to Travel in September in Mumbai

The best places to travel in September in Mumbai are not limited to the city. You can also visit Ziro Valley, Nashik, Haji Ali Dargah, and Mahalakshmi Temple. All of these places are well worth a visit. You will also get to explore the history and culture of the state and India.

Nashik

Nashik is home to Sula Vineyards, the first commercial winery in the country. Visitors can tour the winery and learn about the grape-growing process. Sula Vineyards also offers wine retreats and tasting sessions. They even have a rooftop restaurant where you can enjoy an al fresco lunch.

Nashik is best known for its vineyards, the most famous of which is Sula Vineyard. The city is also home to a beautiful temple and mesmerizing waterfalls. The calm winds and lush greenery will enchant you as you explore these beautiful places. The Nashik Caves are another excellent attraction for travellers.

Haji Ali Dargah

Haji Ali Dargah is a fascinating religious site with an elaborate marble mosque, dargah, sanatorium, and other buildings. The complex reflects a mixture of Mughal and Indo-Islamic architecture. It features beautiful mirror work and has stood for over 400 years.

The Dargah is located on a small island in Worli Bay. Its architecture is in the Indo-Islamic style. It is accessed via a causeway, which is nearly one kilometre long. You can also visit the tomb of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, buried in the dargah.

Mahalakshmi Temple

If you’re looking for a peaceful destination in the middle of Mumbai, the Mahalakshmi Temple is a great place to start your trip. The temple is near the beach, and the stairs lead down to the ocean. These steps were once carved into the rocks below and now lead into the temple. The main temple is home to a six-meter-tall, three-faced statue of the Hindu god Shiva.

If you’re visiting Mumbai in September, don’t miss a visit to Mahalakshmi Temple. This temple, which dates back to 1785, is a Hindu pilgrimage site that attracts visitors worldwide. It is hectic during the nine-day festival Navratri, and you should plan to spend some time here to get an insight into Hindu beliefs.

Water Kingdom

A trip to the Water Kingdom is not only fun, but it is also safe. The water park has special sections for children, as well as for adults. It is advisable to wear appropriate swimwear, water goggles, and a large hat. An adult should also accompany children to avoid trouble.

The water park is open every day of the week, including holidays. While you can visit the Water Kingdom anytime, the best time to visit is between January and July. However, during the monsoon season, you will have to be extra careful as there are many weather issues. Also, it is essential to remember that there are different types of tickets, depending on your age and height. Therefore, purchasing a ticket in advance is advisable to avoid any problems. You should also bring valid ID proof, especially if you are a senior citizen.
