Lowe’s hosts a month-long home and garden event
In celebration of spring, Lowe’s is hosting a month-long home and garden event called SpringFest. The event is designed to make it easier to prepare your home for spring. The home improvement chain offers free garden kits and in-store demonstrations to mark the occasion.
SpringFest begins April 1 and features discounts and DIY demonstrations. The event is designed to give homeowners the confidence and inspiration they need to tackle their outdoor projects. In addition to offering free kits, Lowe’s offers special lawn care maintenance classes and paint demos with Sherwin-Williams Company and Scotts.

Lowe’s is celebrating spring with a Springfest sale that includes many different items for landscaping and gardening projects. Mulch, garden soil, and annuals are among the products that will be discounted during the month-long celebration. Depending on your region, you can also take advantage of unique demos to learn about different products and services.
Lowe’s SpringFest sale is now through May 4 and includes discounts on garden tools, lawn care products, and landscaping. Customers will be able to take a 30-minute lawn and garden “walking tour” of their local Lowe’s locations, and Lowe’s Red Vest store associates will highlight the newest and greatest items for spring. This is an excellent opportunity to jump on spring gardening and receive free garden seeds from selected locations.
For the gardener, there are great deals on Miracle-Gro All-Purpose Garden Soil. The sale is for three packs; you can pick up the soil in-store or get it delivered to your home. If you’re into grilling, Lowe’s also has excellent grill deals. The $150 discount on the Pit Boss grill is just one of the many grilling deals available during the Lowes Springfest sale.
Free kits
During April, Lowe’s will give away free garden-to-go kits and discounts on outdoor products. Customers can register to win them by checking out Lowe’s website. The event will start on April 8 and continue every Thursday until the end of the month. Miracle-Gro will also sponsor a Garden-to-Go kit with an exclusive recipe from Amanda Frederickson. The event will also feature a Mystery Garden Pinata on April 15 and the ‘Sunshine Quest’ where families can create butterfly gardens.
To win a garden-to-go kit, customers must register at the store’s website by April 15 and sign up for weekly pick-up. The kits will be delivered curbside weekly to the Champaign store.
DIY workshops
Lowe’s Springfest is a celebration of spring, including DIY workshops, special activities, and discounts. The event features everything you need to get started on your projects, from gardening tools to paints for your home. There are even workshops for kids. Kids can learn about gardening and preparing for Earth Day.
The Feed, Your Feather Friends Workshop, is one of Lowe’s workshops this spring. The event will teach kids how to build a wooden birdhouse and will be held on May 7 from 9 AM to 12 PM. The workshop is open to children ages four and up.
Another workshop at Lowe’s is called “Make Your Neighbors Jealous With Colorful Flower Beds” and will show you easy-to-follow flower bed design tips. You can register for this workshop online or attend in person. Kids can also learn how to make planters with their own hands.
